IMR Blue
If this powder had any official load data, we would recommend buying it.  But there is none, except ours, as of this posting in early 2019.
Hornady Case 13.8 Grains Case capacity
10.5 grains of IMR Blue fits just fine, Lehigh 65 grain XD bullet seats at 1.10 easily
Not super bulky for a flake powder
Compresses easily
IMR Blue
Larger Flake powder..Looks like Alliant Blue dot, except the circular disks are a little smaller and take up less space, so you can fit a little bit more IMR blue in a case than Alliant Blue Dot.
We do NOT recommend this powder for beginner reloaders because...you don't know?  Read on to find out as of this publishing..
The blue dots in the powder make this powder easy to spot on sight.  This makes it harder to mix up powders, or not understand what powder you are loading.  You know what it is from the blue.  This is good.  It is not so bulky actually, you can get more than ~10.5 grains in a case.  This makes it more versaile for 9MM, but not top tier versatile as it can't do max velocity in say 65 Grain as its too slow of a powder.
This powder performs similarly to Alliant Blue Dot, except you need more of this powder to achieve same velocity, but not much more.
This is one of the best 9MM powders you can buy if you "work up" with it.  Why work up?
BECAUSE THERE IS ZERO LOAD DATA for 9MM on the entire internet.  We just looked at the burn rate, took a guess since its marketed to be "Blue Dot" competitor, loaded up basically all the same charges as our Blue Dot tests, with same bullets, and went for it.  Zero problems, worked fine.  So now the only load data on the internet is ours, from our testing.  WAY more testing coming...we will see if this thing can make 9MM Major.
Lets take a look at some of the brass...
